LATEST KIA PHILIPPINES ADDITION - THE 2025 KIA SORENTO TURBO HYBRID

 

Kia Philippines has introduced the 2025 Sorento Turbo Hybrid, marking the brand's first hybrid SUV in its 23-year history. This 7-seater mid-sized SUV is available in two-wheel drive (2WD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations, with prices starting at PHP 2,188,000.

Powertrain and Performance: The Sorento Turbo Hybrid is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged Smartstream Gasoline Direct Injection engine, paired with an electric motor and a lithium-ion traction battery. This setup delivers a combined output of 232 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle offers selectable drive modes and three terrain-specific modes to suit various driving conditions. Additionally, Kia's Electrification Vehicle Motion Control (E-VMC) system enhances handling and ride comfort.

Fuel Efficiency: The Smart Regeneration feature optimizes battery regeneration, allowing for fuel efficiency of up to 23 km/l in urban settings.

Interior and Features: Inside, the Sorento Turbo Hybrid boasts premium materials, leather upholstery, and power-adjustable ventilated seats. The EX+ and SX variants feature a dual 12.3-inch digital display setup for navigation, entertainment, and vehicle monitoring. These trims also come with a 12-speaker Bose sound system. Other features include a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and a smart tailgate. For safety, the EX+ and SX trims are equipped with Kia DriveWise, an extensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
